Shene Commodore, Founder and President

 

It all started when...

After college, Shene Commodore began doing contract work for Wright Patterson Air force Base. She developed a love for government policy, acquisition and contracting. Ms. Commodore went on to become the Founder and President of Commodore Consulting in 2002. As President of CC for the past 11 years, she has worked with government agencies to implement policy that will better serve the small business community.

Ms. Commodore has over 20 years of experience providing contract management, acquisition assessment, proposal writing, marketing, business development and training services to the Government and Private Sectors. Her experience includes proposal prepartion for General Services Administration (GSA), developing strategic partnerships, professional course development/training, and public speaking. She is a certified professional contract manager (CPCM), therefore, having an in-depth knowledge of the FAR and is on all facets of contract management within the government and commercial arena

In 2002, Commodore Consulting was founded in Columbus, Ohio. The company has since expanded and is  now headquartered in  Atlanta, Georgia, with satellite offices in Ohio, Chicago and D.C. Ms. Commodore has helped her clients generate over $20 million in annual contract sales and grant management.
